About the Conference

GET TO KNOW THE ICE-INDIANA CONFERENCE

Now entering its 39th year of supporting Indiana educators, ICE-Indiana brings together and celebrates the best of what is happening across the Hoosier state in terms of Digital Age teaching and learning. As an International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) affiliate conference, ICE-Indiana helps to connect Indiana’s educators to the world. Our 2-day event in October features inspiring learning opportunities for every attendee, led by some of the most talented educators from across Indiana and beyond, including internationally-recognized keynote and spotlight speakers. In addition, the conference offers multiple opportunities to collaborate with colleagues, education leaders, and technology partners.

Check us out! The Indiana Connected Educators value collaboration, high-quality resources, and a culture of care. When we gather together, you can be sure to walk away with new ideas and useful new tools and strategies. You will also have had fun and will have found your tribe.

The 2019 Conference

Designed For Learning Logo

This year’s conference focuses on the role of design in education. We believe everyone in education is a designer, should see their students as designers and can use the principles and tools of design to enhance every aspect of teaching and learning. Imagine what we can create when we bring students, teachers, media specialists, coaches, administrators, and community together to learn with one another.

The voices that will gather together at ICE this year will be as varied and passionate as the communities we serve. We will collaborate to look critically at the role that technology plays in our identities and the opportunities that technology offers to elevate our voices and connect us with a wider community of leaders and learners. We will consider how we support our students and our communities as they grapple with the complexities of our information-rich culture. And we will continue to weave together the many strands of our shared community of Indiana educators.

The 2019 ICE-Indiana Conference will take place on October 17th and 18th at Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana.

Any Indiana educator, regardless of role, will find a wide variety of sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative opportunities to meet their needs.

If you would like to share your leadership, experience, and ideas with ICE, the call for proposals will open in early Spring.

Registration will also open early-Spring with an Early Bird discount for those who claim their spot before August.

You can connect with ICE-Indiana on our organization’s website, via Facebook and Twitter, and through our newsletter.
